At Mishkatmann Pet Shop, your satisfaction matters to us. We want you and your feathered friends to be completely happy with every purchase. Please read our Return and Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- The return request is made within 7 days of receiving your order
- The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Opened bird food, seeds, pellets, treats, or supplements (for hygiene and safety reasons)
- Opened health, grooming, or medication products
- Items that have been used or assembled (e.g., perches, feeders, cage accessories)
- Customized or personalized products
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling by the customer
- Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
2. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the damaged or incorrect item and its packaging
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. We take product quality seriously, especially when it concerns the safety and well-being of your birds.
3. How to Request a Return

Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Our team will respond as soon as possible with return instructions. Please do not send items back without first receiving confirmation from us.
4. Return Shipping
- If the return is due to a fault or error on our part, we will cover the return shipping cost.
- If the return is due to a change of mind or any other reason, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns. Mishkatmann Pet Shop is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during return shipping.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome soon. If approved:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method soon, depending on your bank or card provider.
- Shipping fees (if any were charged) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
If your return is not approved (e.g., due to signs of use or missing packaging), we will contact you, and the item may be returned to you at your cost.
6. Exchanges
We currently offer exchanges for items that are faulty or incorrectly sent. If you would like a different product, we recommend returning the original item for a refund and placing a new order.
7. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order free of charge if it has not yet been dispatched. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and the return process will apply instead.
8. Bird Food & Perishable Products
Due to the nature of bird food, seeds, supplements, and other perishable items, we are unable to accept returns on these products once opened. If you receive a product that is expired, damaged, or of poor quality, please contact us immediately with photos and we will resolve the issue promptly.
